Below is a list of other organizations we recommend who are also working toward a multicultural nation without racism.

This list focuses primarily on large nation-wide organizations, listed in alphabetical order in each category below. The description of each organization is quoted from their respective websites. We encourage you to also look for local organizations and faith-based groups in your communities.

Organizations helping people take action

Center for Countering Digital Hate Inc (CCDH) - CCDH's mission is to protect human rights and civil liberties online. They work to stop the spread of online hate and disinformation through innovative research, public campaigns and policy advocacy.

Indivisible - Indivisible is a network of local groups that resist fascism and defend our rights, communities, and values. Join them for actions, events, and resources to stop Trump's attacks on our democracy. Leader of the "No Kings" movement. Has local groups across the country.

MoveOn - MoveOn is a movement of millions of people who take action on big issues like electing progressive leaders, fighting for universal healthcare, and supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Supports both civic action, focusing on nonpartisan education and advocacy on important national issues, and political action, a federal political committee which primarily helps members elect candidates who reflect their values.

NAACP - NAACP advocates, agitates, and litigates for the civil rights due to Black America. They envision an inclusive community rooted in liberation where all persons can exercise their civil and human rights without discrimination. We are committed to a world without racism where Black people enjoy equitable opportunities in thriving communities.

Repairers of the Breach - Repairers of the Breach is committed to building and supporting moral movements for social change and training a fusion group of people, activists, artists, and interfaith leaders to organize and mobilize around a moral policy agenda that prioritizes love, truth, and justice. They are the founders and leaders of Moral Mondays events.

Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) - The SPLC is a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond, working in partnership with communities to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements, and advance the human rights of all people.

SURJ (Showing Up For Racial Justice) - SURJ is a network of groups and individuals organizing white people for racial and economic justice. Learn about their current campaigns, such as monthly abolition action hour, first 100 days program, and May Day rallies, and how to get involved. Has local chapters and affiliates across the country.

A Long Talk - A Long Talk About The Uncomfortable Truth is a 21-day anti-racism activation experience designed to empower participants with knowledge and skills to combat racism in their daily lives. They also provide ongoing community support and events to foster continued growth and engagement in anti-racism efforts including CPR Protocol for All, their approach to building courageous, productive, and real conversations.

Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH®) - The mission of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History is to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about Black life, history and culture to the global community.

Center for the Study of White American Culture (CSWAC) - CSWAC's mission is to build an equitable society in the United States by decentering white culture and centering an anti-racist multiracial culture free of white supremacy. Offers workshops on "What White People Can Do About Racism," "Decentering Whiteness & Building Multiracial Community," and other related topics.

Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training - Crossroads' mission is to help institutions with shared language, ideas, practices, and tools to understand how their institutions operate in ways that maintain systemic racism as well as the system of ideas that legitimize a drive to dominate and cultivate ways of being and working that lead to institutional practices that result in justice and equity.

Race Forward - Race Forward supports communities and public institutions to achieve a just multiracial democratic society through governance that advances racial justice.
